Our Mission
At Knox-Whitley Humane Association, our mission is to provide a safe and caring environment for all the animals that come through our doors. We strive to find loving forever homes for each and every animal that enters our shelter.
Adoption Process
Adopting a pet from Knox-Whitley Humane Association is easy! Simply stop in and meet with your potential forever friend, fill out adoption paperwork, then take your new furry friend home. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before leaving, and cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped upon request!

Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission to become a no-kill shelter, and to find loving homes for every animal that comes through our doors. Any amount and every amount helps us reach that goal.
HOLIDAY CLOSURE NOTICE
We will be CLOSED December 22nd – January 1st for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
During this time, our team will be focusing on deep cleaning and preparing the shelter for the new year to ensure a healthy and safe environment for the animals in our care.
We will reopen Friday, January 2nd at 11:00 AM
