Drop offs are by appointment ONLY to ensure that we have space to take in the animal, as we do euthanize for sickness, aggression, and space when needed. To schedule an appointment, you must live in Knox, Whitley, or Clay County. We CAN NOT take any animal(s) if you have an out of county ID.  

Before you consider surrendering to a high-intake shelter that euthanizes for any reason necessary, have you considered re-homing your pet?

You will be met with an automatic reply that basically rehashes all of this info and takes you to our owner surrender application. You must fill that out before we can make your appointment.

Due to our high intake volume, it may take a couple of weeks for a response. We appreciate your patience.

If this is an emergency, or you have found a stray, please contact the animal control agency of the county in which you reside to have the animal picked up.
