How you can help

Volunteering

Volunteering

We LOVE our volunteers!

Anything from walking & bathing dogs, helping out on the kennel floor, and even participating in mobile adoptions is such a huge help! For more information on volunteering, you can contact us or stop by the shelter to fill out a volunteer application.

Donations

Volunteering

Monetary donations are always appreciated, but we love physical donations just as much!

Most of all, nothing is better donated than your time spent with animals in need.

Click below for a detailed list of what we need.

What we need

Hiking for a Paws

Hiking for a Paws

What better way to help the animals decompress than by giving them the best day ever out of their kennel?

We have an amazing program started by volunteers that gives our dogs some much needed socialization and freedom-for-a-day.

Stop into the shelter for an application to join the club!

Hiking Highlights

The most important way to help is to spay and neuter and adopt a pet in need!

Euthanasia rates are at an all time high, and it is your responsibility as a good pet owner to spay and neuter your pets. Spaying or neutering is the best way to cut down on the number of unwanted animals in the community. These routine medical procedures not only help control pet overpopulation, but they may also prevent medical and behavioral problems from developing, allowing your pet to lead a longer, healthier and happier life!

Want a low cost way to neuter and spay? Read about how to qualify for our voucher program by clicking below.
